Steam supply for one of the largest paper machines in the world

The superheated steam boilers are used to supply steam to the paper mill.

IMPLEMENTED PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

  • In Aalen, Papierfabrik Palm GmbH & Co. KG is building the world’s largest and fastest system for the production of corrugated base paper with low grammages. For this purpose, VKK Standardkessel is supplying the largest shell boilers ever built. The two steam generators have a capacity of 70 t/h each for the generation of steam at 21 bar operating pressure at 300°C. VKK supplies the boilers with equipment including the firing system.
