Fire tubes

Fire tubes constitute the highest thermally loaded components of large waterspace boilers. Corrugated metal tubes can cope with higher operating pressures compared to the smooth fire tubes.

 

VKK STANDARDKESSEL Köthen/VKK STANDARDKESSEL Service Köthen produces corrugated metal tubes for its own requirements and also for other boiler manufacturers. Corrugated metal tubes are manufactured on a special machine under continuous monitoring of the deformation temperature (see image). The dimensional tolerances pursuant to EN 12953 are complied with. The acceptance is performed by recognised testing and monitoring organisations.
