VKK STANDARDKESSEL Service Köthen GmbH were founded!
The shareholders of VELDE Boilers and Plants GmbH started the reorganization of the company. In October 2018 two new subsidiary companies were founded. VKK STANDARDKESSEL Köthen GmbH as manufaturing company for steam- and hot-water-boiler and boiler components and VKK STANDARDKESSEL Service Köthen GmbH for technical service of boiler-systems. With these two companies our professional expertise will be pooled and continued.
VKK STANDARDKESSEL Köthen is a traditional company in boiler manufacturing and technical service and started in 2001 from the merger of Vorwärmer- und Kesselbau Köthen GmbH and Standardkessel Lentjes-Fasel GmbH. The company looks back on a successful development in steam boiler construction at the locations in Köthen and Duisburg and is one of the market leaders in the industry worldwide.
The first boilers were delivered in the 19th century to Germany’s aspiring sugar and textiles industries. After 1945, both companies had a sustained influence in the development of industrial steam generator construction in divided Germany, both known as the market leaders worldwide for maximum quality in boiler plant construction. From 1951 onwards, STANDARD-CONDORKESSEL conquered the markets in Europe and overseas from its Duisburg base. And the Köthen small water-tube boiler could be found in nearly every heating plant of the East German energy supply industry. In the 1990s, the companies started to collabrate in the former devided East and West markets.
