Feed water preheating

According to the laws of physics, the waste gas temperatures downstream of the evaporator heating surfaces clearly exceed the respective saturated steam temperature. To decrease heat losses thus caused, economisers are used as cold-end heating surfaces to preheat feedwater for steam generators.

An efficient economiser series is provided for the CONDORBOILER, which allows a flexible structural arrangement for almost every application and makes boiler efficiency increases by up to 96% possible. The heating surface is made out of spiral or twin-square finned tubes, depending on the operating data as well as fuel and waste gas quality.
